For more than 23 years, Rocio Vega and Franck Boutonnet, two photographers in love with images, have dedicated their time to tell visual stories. From where they were born to where they live now, Rocio (born in Colombia but living in Spain) and Franck (born and living in France) have constantly traveled the world to discover and document it. Their romantic encounter in 2016, saw the start of a professional partnership (Smoy Photography) that took many forms and continues to grow: luxury wedding reportages, international keynote speakers to share their vision and passion about photography, corporate assignments (photo&video) for companies and associations. Their combined experiences over 45 years allowed them to shoot more than 700 weddings in 25 countries, to give more than 30 conferences worldwide, and to win more than 700 awards. Really early on in their relationship, Rocio & Franck felt the need of backing up their daily life and work ethic on some common values and principles: be creative, be open minded to new experiences, have pleasure in the process, be free and to nurture collaborative relationships. All of those in an open minded and benevolent mindset. Smoy photography was born from this manifesto.
