Matteo Carta is not just a photographer but also a husband and the father of two wonderful boys. He was born in Cagliari, in one of the places considered the most beautiful in the world: Sardinia. He threw himself into the world of photography in 2013 and studied extensively with different colleagues to deepen his understanding of every photographic approach to weddings. It was a way to enrich himself but also to understand which path was the right one for him. He has always been fascinated by documentary photography and photojournalism. His bookshelf is crammed full of books by Bresson. He is completely fascinated by Bresson's approach to photography. This love for documentary photography led him to work by telling the story of a wedding day from his own particular point of view, one that clearly differs from what the wedding industry often presents. His photography is not based on aesthetics or on the constant pursuit of luxury and perfection, but instead focuses on real moments, sometimes emotional, sometimes crazy and fun. He photographs in silence, never interfering, allowing things to happen in a completely spontaneous way. The couple has complete control over every aspect of their wedding day, from where they get ready, to how and when. Matteo simply remains in the background, telling the story of the moments of their special day. He is a member of several international photography associations and has received numerous awards and recognitions. Certainly, the one that means the most to him is winning the title of Fearless Photographers of the Year for two consecutive years.
